Low cost and great service We were with another agency that suddenly raised our House Insurance and Auto by $200, so I decided to start looking elsewhere. Mike's name came back and we started to chat. We know Mike and his family so it was nice talk to someone that we knew. We told him our situation and he came back with numbers we could not believe. When I met my wife she was a State Farm person all the way, she had them for 20 year (since she was 16). This last year when she reviewed our homeowners insurance she couldn't believe it went up by a $100. I contacted Mike & he came right to our home & went over everything we had with St. Farm - auto, home, personal effects & umbrella. He pointed out how we were paying for too much for the coverages we had and how the current company he put us with was cheaper & offered more coverages without having so many separate policies. We were able to insurance my beer stein on the homeowners policy and not having to do a personal articles floater like State Farm had us doing. Of all the years of dealing with insurance agents and not knowing what we needed or didnt' need and really not knowing there was much of a difference as we thought they all had the same agenda to sell us insurance because we needed insurance. We just would be told what coverage we would have and what
it would cost in order to avoid the worst case scenarios that would have some scarry consequences if we didn't. We never realized there were agents like Mike Larson who treated us like we really mattered to him and that he wanted to make sure he could get us the best coverage as well as the best prices for our insurance needs of which he did and we are so grateful to him for that as well. We knew right from the beginning he was a very confident and trustworthy agent. My husband is especially cautious and is usually very hesitant with most people especially insurance reps and he too was very pleased with how Mike handled everything so professionally and efficiently and we just knew of all the years of dealing with insurance agents and not knowing what we needed or didnt' need and really not knowing there was much of a difference as we thought they all had the same agenda to sell us insurance because we needed insurance. Not the typical insurance agent I want to start this review by saying that Mike is not the typical insurance agent. The agents that I've dealt with in the past were eager to meet with me to get signed up, but trying to get a hold of them between renewals was like pulling teeth. When I called him to get a quote over the phone, he offered to stop by my office to give me a quote in person. I was shocked to see him arrive literally 10 minutes after we had spoken. He pulled his laptop out of his bag and was able to quickly go through the required questions in order to get a quote. He reviewed my existing policy and identified areas where I either had too much insurance or too little. He showed me a quote both for if I kept my existing coverage or if I switched my coverage to what he recommended, both being less than what I was paying currently. Needless to say, I signed up for insurance with Mike, both Business Property, Liability, and Auto insurance. Because of adding a business location and more employees, I needed .I want to start this review by saying that Mike is not the typical insurance agent.
